Tom is Board Certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the Board of Legal Specialization of the North Carolina State Bar. Tom is the Chairman of the Unauthorized Practice Committee for the Carolinas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Tom has represented clients before USCIS adjudication officers, in Immigration Court, before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and in federal court. Tom also practices criminal defense, and has represented clients in state and federal courts and before the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of North Carolina and in both the Middle and Eastern Federal District Courts of North Carolina.
