My diverse experiences laid the foundation of empathy and integrity that I have brought to my legal practice. I escaped from Vietnam as a refugee at age 4. My father and I settled in Fullerton, California, where we were reunited with my mother and sister five years later. I served 10 years in the United States Air Force (USAF). While an active duty member of the military, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland University College. When my enlistment ended honorably, I went on to pursue a career in the legal profession.
