Dr. Neil Chen, a Board Certified plastic surgeon, opened his practice in 1996 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a mission to provide the very best care and personal attention to his patients. Dr. Chen graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed extensive training at Massachusetts General Hospital and UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Christopher Knotts, also a Board Certified plastic surgeon, joined Plastic Surgery Institute of New Mexico in 2020. A native New Mexican, Dr. Knotts graduated from University of New Mexico and had further training at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Hunstad-Kortesis Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Charlotte, NC. He had practiced in cosmetic surgery for 7 years at Austin-Weston Center for Cosmetic Surgery in the Washington DC area before returning to New Mexico.
