Dr. Byun received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and completed his clinical fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Northwestern. He was a research advisor at the University of California, Department of Neurobiology and at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke Research. Dr. Byun is certified in Ultra Pulse Laser Resurfacing, Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release, Endoscopic Surgery in Plastic Surgery, Maxilofacial Principle and Technique, Erbium Laser and Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
