The Swanson Center introduced ultrasonic liposuction to Kansas City in 1997. Over 3000 men and women have had ultrasonic liposuction at the Swanson Center, one of the largest patient volumes in the country. Over 1000 patients have taken part in clinical and outcome studies evaluating the safety and effectiveness of liposuction, cosmetic breast surgery, and abdominoplasties. Dr. Swanson is an advocate for evidence-based medicine, and has over 130 publications in the top plastic surgery peer-reviewed journals.
