Carolina Family Dentistry

Raised in Charleston, Dr. Banik graduated from the College of Charleston, received his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and completed an advanced dental residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. After practicing and teaching in Savannah, he returned to Charleston. Committed to ongoing education, Dr. Banik attends numerous advanced dental courses annually, earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), graduated from the prestigious Kois Center, and holds certification from the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorder Disciplines. He also mentors young dentists as a clinical instructor at MUSC dental school and provides care for children at Welvista Smiles rural dental clinic in Allendale, SC.
