Blue Door Smokehouse was started in March of 2013 by two Lexington natives, Jeff Newman and Jon Rigsby. They had a simple goal of producing the best barbeque in the city and coupling that with warm, friendly, fun, and efficient service. For us, consistency is key, and we work hard every day to ensure that our product is the same high quality as it was on your last visit. Over the years, we have grown from just one employee to five, which is a lot for our tiny space! If we don’t know your name by now, we will soon.
