Michael Symon’s Cleveland-style barbecue restaurant Mabel’s BBQ East 4th opened in April of 2016. Inspired by his respect and passion for regional barbecue across the U.S., Symon aimed to create a style that Clevelanders can call their own by incorporating Bertman’s Ballpark Mustard into the barbecue sauce, using Eastern European spices and smoking meat over local fruitwood.
