Mr. Dawson is a former Social Security Administration attorney. He has over ten years of experience as Assistant Regional Counsel for the SSA, Office of the General Counsel. Mr. Dawson initially completed a clerkship with the Seattle Regional Office of SSA’s Office of the General Counsel before joining the Denver Regional Office. He litigated over 500 disability cases before federal district courts (including the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado) and federal appellate courts (including the Fourth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals). Mr. Dawson’s experience as a former Social Security Administration attorney provides a unique perspective as well as the knowledge and skill necessary to successfully navigate disability claims through the complex and often confusing bureaucracy of the Social Security Administration and, when necessary, in federal court.
