Prairie Land Insurance was founded in 1975 by Anne Lowe in Winona, Kansas. In 2011, her son, Jamie Lowe, purchased the business and relocated the main office to Lawrence, Kansas. We are licensed in seventeen states and plan to add more in the future. In 2017 we acquired an agency in Johnson County, Kansas, and just recently we purchased Free State Agency in Lawrence, Kansas. With the most recent acquisition, we found two excellent new Producers, Bobbie Shreve and Dustin Frost. Together, they bring 8 years of personal and commercial lines experience. Our 3 rd Generation family member, Nolan Lowe, is a producer for us in the greater Des Moines, Iowa area.
