Little Richard’s BBQ was founded in 1991 by Nick Karagiorgis and Gary Sizemore at the original location on Country Club Road in Winston-Salem. Later they took on a partner, Richard Berrier, and then left the Winston-Salem location to expand to a new location in Clemmons. Today, the Little Richard’s BBQ restaurant family has grown to and is comprised of four locations (Clemmons, Yadkinville, Mt. Airy and Walkertown), all of which are family owned and operated by members of the first and second generations of the Karagiorgis family.
