Dinner Bell Bbq originally opened in Downtown Portland in March of 2017 at the largest food cart pod in the city. A little over two years later the sad news was released that the lot was to be developed in order to build Portland’s first five star hotel. Luckily a new opportunity presented itself in northeast Portland near the Laurelhurst and North Tabor neighborhoods. The Flying Tortoise food cart pod is the perfect upgrade from the busy downtown location, and offers covered seating, bathrooms, and hand washing facilities for guests. In this new, more permanent location we look forward to continuing this journey of exploring classic southern comfort foods and reinterpreting them in the Dinner Bell Barbecue style. In addition to our main menu we will also be offering daily and seasonal specials throughout the year.
