Country BBQ began in 1975 in small restaurant located in High Point NC across from Thomas Built busses. Operating in a building no bigger than 900 square feet made for a working environment that was a little tight to say the least, but, over the years as business grew, so did Country BBQ. A second location was added in Greensboro off of Wendover Avenue that is still in business to this day, and expansion from the original location in High Point to a new facility up the street. With this success and the drive from a younger generation coming into the picture Country BBQ was able to again expand in 2008, opening a new store off Highway 68 in High Point.
