Chautauqua Aircraft Sales, located at the Jamestown NY airport (KJHW), was founded in 2000. Chautauqua Aircraft Sales merged at that time with Dunkirk Aviation, which was founded by John Nalbone Sr. in 1960. Prior to that, John started an FBO, maintenance facility, and flight school at the Dunkirk Airport in 1946 after completing his tour as an Army Air Corps flight instructor. Chautauqua Aircraft Sales was a Cessna CSTAR dealer selling new Cessna piston aircraft up until 2016. In addition, Chautauqua Aircraft is a Mooney, Cessna, Beechcraft, Diamond OEM factory authorized service center. Currently Chautauqua Aircraft is co-mingled with its sister company, Dunkirk Avionics, which provides aircraft modification, maintenance, avionic installations, and brokerage services. We are highly experienced in brokering aircraft as well as assisting customers in purchasing their new aircraft.
