Shanna founded Chara Christian Dance Academy in 2008 with a vision to blend faith and excellence in dance education. A graduate of Texas A&M University, she holds a B.S. in Sport Management with minors in Dance and Business. In 2017, she and her husband, Bobby—Pastor of Friendswood Friends Church—launched the Part of the Art Foundation to provide dance scholarships for deserving children. A dedicated community leader, Shanna serves on the boards of the FISD Education Foundation and Friends of Downtown Friendswood. She is also a certified business and personal development coach through More Than Just Great Dancing!®, where she mentors fellow studio owners in building impactful, student-focused businesses. Today, she continues to lead Chara, which also offers programs located in music lessons Pearland TX, helping students grow in creativity and confidence. Shanna and Bobby are proud parents of three children.
