Many years ago, Dr. Wooten completed a part of her plastic surgery residency training in Brazil, a place where plastic surgery is not just a field of medicine, but a part of life. While there, Dr. Wooten enjoyed the local culture, the beautiful scenery, and, of course, studied the most advanced techniques in fat transfer, breast lifts, breast augmentation, tummy tucks with liposuction, and many other types of cosmetic surgery. When it eventually came time for her to name her new business, she chose a word that reflects her unique education and training. Beleza means “beautiful” in Portuguese.
