Viola Barrios came from the small town of Bustamante, Mexico with nothing more than a dream and a handful of family recipes. In 1979, determined to take care of her children, she opened Los Barrios Restaurant in an old boat house and introduced the world to “Casero Style” cooking. This unique way of cooking “from the home” came from years of tradition, pride and heritage handed down from one generation to the next. We invite you to come in and enjoy our unique flavors of Mexico and be a part of our recipe of fun, food and happiness!
