Stephen Mardena has been working on construction sites since the age of 14. Stephen grew up in NYC, and began his career cleaning up job sites for his family business. From simple janitorial tasks, he quickly graduated to experimenting with tools – the first one he ever used being the jigsaw to cut a Formica countertop for a kitchen sink.

After gaining field experience on job sites every summer, Stephen worked his way up to Carpenter Apprentice, and later as a Carpenter. He eventually became a Jobsite Foreman, where he ran his own projects and supervised his own labor crew. After a handful of years, Stephen continued to work his way up the ladder to become a Superintendent followed by Project Management.
