Jesus practices law in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, the United States District Court Southern District of Florida, and Immigration Courts Nationwide. He firmly believes that an effective attorney must be well-rounded and balanced in his skills in order to stand out and persuade in court. Accordingly, he has worked tirelessly in constantly developing his trial, legal writing and research, and persuasive-communication skills.

As an Assistant Public Defender at the Miami Public Defenders Office, he developed his trial skills in the courtroom by conducting jury trials and representing hundreds of clients accused of crimes. As an Attorney Advisor at the Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court), he polished his legal research and writing skills by providing legal advice to Immigration Judges in the interpretation and application of highly technical and exceedingly complicated immigration laws. He also mobilized to several immigration detention centers across the southern U.S. border to advise Immigration Judges during the 2016-17 immigration surge.
